Passion Banana Shake

There is this delicious mix of milled seeds & cereals (sesame, wheat germ, millet, oatmeal, soybean, wheat bran, brown rice) available from Rimping Supermarket (and other places which sell OTOP products). You can simply add it to hot water, milk, soy milk, or yogurt for a boost.
I've been tossing it in the blender with some soy milk and fresh fruit (bought from the local street vendor or fresh market!). So delish - and healthy to boot. I also found a 100g bag of golden flax seeds for a mere 38 baht, so have run it through the mill attachment of my blender before adding it to the shake ingredients.

It's all so easy! And so good! And so CHEAP. Do it now.

Passion Banana Shake

1.5-2 small bananas
1/2 cup passionfruit
3/4 cup soy milk
1/4 cup water (depends on how you like the consistency of your shake)
1-2 tbsp milled seeds/cereals + about a tsp milled flaxseed

Toss it all in the blender. No more than a minute in the spinner. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.

Note. Change up the fruit combination according to what you find (and/or the season). Mango, strawberry, papaya, whatever you fancy.

Breakfast Suggestion:
Hungry? This was a nice breakfast I put together on a particularly peckish morning. Toast up a spinach bagel from Kasem Store topped with cream cheese, a couple spoons of the fresh passionfruit, and a "salsa" blend of chopped celery, dried cranberry, walnuts, & shallot with palm sugar vinegar (picked up from the Phnom Penh airport), and a splash of balsamic. Okay, this was leftover from a dinner party I had the night before. I'll post the recipe soon and send the link :)
